Wm. R. Robertson
I have always loved the work of the Dunlaps, your copy is wonderful. I love the hardware on it and how it sort of matches the carved moldings. Did you make the hardware?I have a full sized tiger maple highboy reproduction made by the late Robert Baker of York, Me., he never quite finished it, he never put hardware on it. I had the correct hardware made in England and for some strange reason I can not get myself to put it on. Bob was a good friend and I just can't finish it.Sorry for drifting off topic..... Your highboy looks great! Would love to see a close up of the basket weave carving at the top.
Elizabeth Gazmuri
In my original post I should have given credit to the late Ron Stetkewicz who made the hardware, beautiful isn't it. Sadly this piece used up the last of it that I had. His son says someday he hopes to make more.
ElgaKoster
If I remember right you had one or a similar piece in the Guild School auction last year or the one before. It is just beautiful.
