Wm. R. Robertson
That's a fun piece.... Kind of a Goddard Block and Shell in a vernacular piece. What is the source of the design?

Elizabeth Gazmuri
This is from an Austin T. Miller auction catalog from 2013. It is listed as a "rare or unique Chippendale candle stand with cabinet, New England circa 1790. Possibly eastern Connecticut. He describes it "In the hands of an inspired and creative cabinetmaker working in the folk art tradition, the candle stand has been almost completely reinvented"
