Althea
Howdy folks, Okay, so I need to find some chenille-like thread or some suede like thread that is small enough to scale to knit with to make the Doctor Who scarf shown below. I have some very fine hand dyed chenille (silk) which is beautiful but it is still too bulky looking when knitted. Any help? Thanks, Althea
WeekendMiniaturist
Althea? What scale were you working in? Did you call Lacis? Lion Brand Yarn had a chenille that measures 3/16" of an inch when it is flat. Unfortunately I only have one skein of a very true red it is labeled "113 Garnet". It is 100% acrylic. If you need a length for test purposes, let me know and I'll send you some. Tamra
