Wm. R. Robertson
This table is a scale model of a scale model, cabinetmakers have always made smaller scale furniture. Sometimes it was used as a sale man sample, sometimes for a daughter's doll, or just because the worker wanted to show his/her skill by working in a smaller size. I have a feeling those reading this forum won't have a problem understanding this concept. In the early 80's I made a few of these in pear wood, they even have dovetailed legs! I made the router bit to cut the dovetail, it was the smallest I had made to that date.
ElgaKoster
Oh my, that is so tiny, about 1/4 scale? You managed to still capture a lot of detail.
