Member1 Posted August 7, 2014 Share Posted August 7, 2014 These were very popular in France throughout the 18 & 19 th centuries. They were often guild apprentice or masterpieces. There are few museums devoted to them and have to dig throughout my files to fine them..... I think one was in Tours I visited years ago......
