Member1 Posted May 31, 2014 Share Posted May 31, 2014 Don made this chair in the late 1970's. He used various woods including hickory and bamboo, that he used for the delicate spindles. I was looking at hickory in a wood shop yesterday, i know it has good bending properties...but it struck me as bit course grained for miniatures or do you get different species?
