POP Art Sweater by Althea Crome
This is the back of the Andy Warhol Cardigan. The idea for it sprung into my head in the shower and the piece was built around the pocket--I envisioned the soup can with the lid that opened (see pocket detail). The rest of it evolved from there with the iconic image of Marilyn Monroe which I modified for the back panel of the sweater. This is knit with 100 YLI silk and 8/0 needles.
