The power went out here for 48 hours. We are very lucky considering what other people are having to endure. To keep myself busy in the workshop, I got out the camping lantern and the felting kit I got from an Etsy seller. REALLY great price on a great kit: https://www.etsy.com/listing/237821057/needlefelt-kit-includes-washed-british?ref=shop_home_active_2 Jeremy Pettigru (the man I have yet to make who lives in the 1:12 saddlery shop I have yet to build) is a fox hunter and he needs a fox. This is about 8 hours of work. I'm thrilled with this method. SO much fun! It's a mixture of sculpting AND painting all at the same time. When I finish him, I'll post a pic.

Working on a 1/12 scale Shetland Pony. Will post progress photos. Equine miniatures are a specialty but this is the first one I've done 100% from scratch and felted. Having a lot of fun with him. I have visions of paring him with a porcelain child doll. He is 3 inches at the shoulder.

Had to do a 1/12 scale black scared Halloween cat. She is entirely felted including the eyes, tongue and teeth.
