    1/48th Embassy Theater

    After some ill health and a very busy schedule I got the prototype for my workshop at the Australian Miniature Enthusiasts Association convention in October finished,?. We have just had the Sydney Dollhouse and Miniatures Fair last weekend (1st weekend in May) where it was first shown to the public so I am now able to show it off as I am quite proud of it. Like anything we create we always see ways and means of doing things differently and better, so I'm sure some of those things will go into the workshop. The Embassy sign has already been rebuilt in a better and more accurate way since these
  2. I am presently stitching a medieval tapestry ( it is a commission) but as soon as it is finished, I have a great project where what I learnt with Ann High at school will be very useful. It is a German timber house that I already made a few years ago but the next one will be an exact copy of the real one in Idstein (Germany ). I did the first one just from a picture on a calendar. For the next one, I have planned a trip to the beautiful town where it is located and I will take measurements, probably get inside and study it closer. And this is in two weeks time.

    Bah's Bake house

    After a few years of being neglected, my creation of Bah's bake house is back...all cleaned and fixed. Those of you who went to guild school before 2007 will probably share my emotion : that little gallery welcomed our good moments, nice breakfast among friends, instructors and students alike. I carried that structure from France to Castine for the exhibit in 2008 but in the meantime ( I could not attend in 2007), Bah's had been refurbished and the gallery had disappeared to create more inside room.
