    Historical fashion plates

Here is a great resource for all doll makers, fashion plates from the early 1800's up to 1940. If you download them in the biggest size you can see all the detail. Be warned there are hundreds of them, so if you are an avid fashion fan of this era, get a cuppa before you dive into the website, here are two plates just to show you what you can expect. This is not just women fashions, there are also plates for men and children. http://libmma.contentdm.oclc.org/cdm/landingpage/collection/p15324coll12
