1929 Ford Stake-Bed Truck

I guess I like to make things look old and tired (like me). This truck was scratch-built from plans found on the internet. Most of the truck body is fabricated from basswood. The wheels, radiator surround, bumpers, were formed in brass and then nickle plated. Headlights and taillight were spun from pewter.  The tires are made from a wooden master and then cast in an RTV mold of flexible urethane. The lug bolts are 0-80 hex head brass machine screws and nuts.  The scale is 1:10.

The truck photos have been posted on another forum, so you may have seen these already. Sorry.

Cheers, Guy

It is wonderful. I also love the aging you have done everywhere on the body.. I wish you had some photos of it in progress.

What a cool car! 'Old & tiered' but very nice looking! I love your evening pictures too. Really fools you in thinking it's real.
