miniredleader
I just got back from London - few days of sightseeing and markets, the IGMA classes, and the Kensington Dollshouse Festival (KDF). The three days of full classes were taught by Geoff Wonnacott (furniture), Jamie Carrington (figures), and Pat Richards/Annelle Ferguson (needlework). There were a few American students and a few from countries other than the UK, but most were locals from England. We heard nothing but rave reviews. The best thing is we get to do it all again next year with the following IGMA Artisan and Fellow instructors: Bonni Backe (textiles), Nell Corkin (small scale), Ann High (furniture carving), and Cristina Minischetti (polymer clay). They are determining their projects now; so check the IGMA website in the next couple of months for descriptions and photos. Sign-up is first-come, first-serve. A big thanks to Charlotte Stokoe, KDF Organizer, for inviting and encouraging IGMA to participate in her event. IGMA had a resource table at the show, courtesy of KDF. What a wonderful show!
