ElgaKoster Posted May 21, 2014 Share Posted May 21, 2014 I have been working on six Federal shield back chairs for a while now, finally have the backs glued together, cutting all the tiny...especially those individual back splats, five for each chair was quite a job. Now comes the scary part...carving the detail in the front of the shield. Two of the chairs will have arm rests as well, the main wood is mopani and the inlay woods, blackwood and maple.
