CollieFeathers
The power went out here for 48 hours. We are very lucky considering what other people are having to endure. To keep myself busy in the workshop, I got out the camping lantern and the felting kit I got from an Etsy seller. REALLY great price on a great kit: https://www.etsy.com/listing/237821057/needlefelt-kit-includes-washed-british?ref=shop_home_active_2 Jeremy Pettigru (the man I have yet to make who lives in the 1:12 saddlery shop I have yet to build) is a fox hunter and he needs a fox. This is about 8 hours of work. I'm thrilled with this method. SO much fun! It's a mixture of sculpting AND painting all at the same time. When I finish him, I'll post a pic. WeekendMiniaturist
This is amazing...and I especially like the polymer clay eyes... they must be sooooo tiny. Have you ever thought of using a torch and trying to make eyes with lampworking techniques? I may try later this summer if I can figure out how to set everything up.
