EEWinters Posted July 11, 2014 Share Posted July 11, 2014 I would love to build either Jane Austen's house (which is now a museum) or Byfleet Manor which was used on Downton Abbey as the Dower House (where Violet Crawley, Dowager Countess of Grantham resides). It will take a while for that dream to be completed but my husband and I are working on the plans for it, adapted into a suitable dollhouse layout of course. I haven't decided if I want to make the whole house exactly as it is or if I want to use it as an inspiration for a dollhouse yet. Another future project of mine is a roombox or cottage style house inspired by the video game Skyrim. I really love rustic old furniture and the general style of the homes in that game. I'm thinking of carving out an alchemy lab and installing lights in it for the green glow effect (most of you probably have no idea what I'm talking about).
