Why the Need for another internet site for miniatures?

Just about every Hobby and Craft except Miniatures has a internet forum devoted to it. This is different than a blog or Facebook page in that it is divided into categories, easily to search and insert photos within a post. Everyone is free to register and post as long as it is within the guide lines. There are no fees as this forum is sponsored by the International Guild of Miniature Artisans and follows it’s mission statement .... “IGMA was founded to promote fine miniatures as an art form; to increase awareness and appreciation of high-quality workmanship through public education; to recognize and honor qualified artisans and encourage work of highest quality; to encourage the development of new artisans; and to coordinate and serve the interests and needs of the artisan and non-artisan.”
